Course outline

The pace of school Health Centres is fast with multiple roles, responsibilities and the need to juggle many tasks can be troublesome.

This training day is designed to assist medical staff in schools to understand how Office 365 suite can assist in day-to-day workload with an aim of working smarter not harder.

Trainer Benoy Ittyavirah is an experienced technology leader and digital advisor. He is current director of IT at West London College and has many years’ experience working in schools and supporting departments including Health Centre’s with their IT needs.

Training topics will include

  • Microsoft Outlook – tips and tricks for managing heavy e mail inbox.
  • Microsoft OneNote – for organisation of notes, plans and information
  • Microsoft Teams – for communication and collaboration
  • Microsoft Copilot – your AI assistant/companion to boost productivity, creativity and skills

Learning outcomes:

  • Increase knowledge on Office 365 in order to use systems to organise, structure and simplify workload
  • Explore opportunity to use IT systems to improve communication within Teams
  • Focus on record keeping IT systems available for meetings and to do lists.

Benoy Ittyavirah

Benoy Ittyavirah is an accomplished educator with over 20 years of experience in the field, teaching, training and leading IT services within schools and colleges. As a technology leader, strategic thinker, and digital transformation expert, he has pioneered complex IT transformations within organisations in the private and public sectors. Benoy excels in implementing transformative methodologies, strategic development, and stakeholder management to drive and inspire change.

Benoy has held technology leadership roles in the UK education sector and serves on the advisory boards of various charitable and technology organisations in the UK, Ireland, and India. Currently he is the Director of IT & Digital Innovation at a leading further education college in London, having held senior roles in the state and private school sectors prior to this.

With a background in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Benoy is a Fellow of the British Computer Society—a prestigious recognition for thought leaders in the industry. He is also an Apple Teacher and a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator.
