During her time there she developed a broad knowledge in all areas of dermatology\, including surgical and chronic wound care\, topical treatments\, paediatric dermatology\, phototherapy\, skin cancer as well as assisting with both traditional and Mohs’ surgery.  She held the post of Nurse Specialist for Skin Cancer and Surgery before taking on the role of Senior Sister for the department. After starting a family Josephine spent 6 years running a private dermatology clinic in Harley Street and then some time working in dermatology insourcing before making the switch to school nursing in late 2024.
