DESCRIPTION:Venue: Zoom (online) – webinar \nAudience \nHealthcare professionals\, anyone caring for a person suffering from epilepsy  \nCourse outline \nThis training package comprises of 12 webinars on a variety of medical topics\, the purpose of which is to provide updates on medical conditions and refresh skills. This box set is suitable for all organisations who wish to further their knowledge with a view to supporting their employees within the work environment. It is also aimed at supporting school nurses with their training and development needs; helping them to raise the standards of care provided in schools\, this could count as CPD as part of their revalidation. After the birth of her first son she stumbled into community school nursing and never looked back. During her time as a community school nurse she covered primary and secondary schools all across Cambridgeshire. She completed training such as the CAMHS foundation module\, Sexual Health and Contraception module and was trained in Safeguarding Children Level 3. She completed her PG Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing in 2016 when she was pregnant with her second son\, which she later topped up to a full MSc in 2023 when she was pregnant with her daughter! This also included qualifying as a Nurse Prescriber. Skyler co-lead the development of a 0-19 Duty Desk and the introduction of the Chathealth text service in Cambridgeshire Community Services. In 2019 she became a Team Manager for the CCS Healthy Child Programme – managing a team of Nursery Nurses\, Health Visitors and School Nurses during the pandemic. In 2020 she was recruited to be the Lead Nurse at The Leys in Cambridge\, to lead a team covering 24 hour care for around 575 pupils (over half of which are boarders). This is where she is now and where her passion for independent school nursing started.

DESCRIPTION:Venue: Zoom (online) \nClinical supervision is a regular and formal process allowing clinicians structured time to receive reflective and practice-based support. It is facilitated by a clinical supervisor with the aims of developing quality care\, accountability\, learning and personal competence in order to meet organisational\, professional and personal objectives. Promoting the best outcomes for service users\, it is a proactive process that is led by the needs of the supervisee. A supervisor should not be the supervisee’s line manager or appraiser. \nThe focus is on the professional development of the supervisee is based on their needs. Clinical supervision is most commonly used in health services for the support of nurses and is valuable for revalidation. He is currently an ADHD and Neurodiversity Consultant and Trainer for a number of schools and organisations\, an Associate Lecturer for Leicester University\, NASEN\, the Helen Arkell Charity and the Institute of Education. \nHe was the Headmaster of the Centre Academy School\, regarded as the first specialist school within the UK for children with ADHD/ODD from 1996 -2002. Prior to that\, he was a Deputy Head Teacher\, the Head of the Science Department and a Science/PE teacher in London\, Newcastle and Washington DC \nHe is a current member of the Special Education Consortium\, the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee\, and The London CDC and is a council member of CReSTeD. \nFin is an internationally acclaimed presenter has presented over 2000 seminars throughout Europe\, the Middle East\, the Far East\, Australia\, New Zealand and North America and has published over 10 books on learning\, behaviour and socialisation issues. \nAnna Webb\, School Nurse\, The Leys \nAnna is a registered paediatric nurse with over 20 years experience which includes general paediatrics\, surgical\, oncology\, intensive care\, palliative and currently school nursing at The Leys Boarding school. She has worked in various hospitals in the UK and enjoyed travelling Australia whilst working in Sydney Children’s Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital\, Melbourne. Approximately 7 years ago her son was diagnosed with ADHD which has led her to become quite passionate about the neurominority population and how best she can support this community in her role as a school nurse.
