Job Description

We are recruiting for a compassionate and experience registered nurse who is able to provide a high standard of medical and pastoral care to our pupils.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of school nursing and some experience in supporting young people with their mental health would be desirable. The Health Centre is situated on the school site and supports pupils and staff with pastoral and medical needs. It is a hive of activity and the role of School Nurse is part of a large multidisciplinary team. The role reports to the Sister in Charge within a team consisting of five nurses, two mental health practitioners, one counsellor, three overnight matrons and a physiotherapist.

Working hours are 22 hours per week on a rota basis from Monday – Saturday plus an on-call element. The on-call part of the role will attract an allowance.
