NHS Tayside is seeking a Consultant in Sexual & Reproductive Health within NHS Tayside. The post is for a part time (0.7 WTE) Consultant with a specific interest in integrated Sexual & Reproductive Health services and SRH needs of young people.  This is a substantive post.

The job will include acute integrated SRH clinics, Specialist Menopause clinic, Complex SRH clinic, LARC clinic and Complex SRH Procedure clinics. The post-holder will also be the Service Lead for Young People.

The appointee will be based at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and the majority of their work will be carried out from here. The appointee will be expected to provide some regular face to face clinical work every 2-4 weeks in Perth with a particular focus on SRH procedures requiring an ultrasound scan, which is not currently available in this site.

There are further opportunities both to be involved in the redesign of services to people living in Angus and to support staff both within and outside of TSRHS providing SRH care to this population, which will depend upon the outcome of discussions with Angus stakeholders.

While this job is a part time post, there is also a possibility for a further 0.3 WTE to applicants who wish to work full time working as part of NHS Tayside Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, to be negotiated directly with this department.

You must be registered with the General Medical Council and hold a Licence to Practice
