Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester
Hours per week: 37
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing Date: 21 June 2022
Interview Date: w/c 04 July 2022
The Role:
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an individual with strong stakeholder and partnership working skills to lead a new programme of work for the County Council’s Public Health and Children’s Services Departments, working closely with the NHS through the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) as it transitions to becoming an Integrated Commissioning System (ICS) after July 2022, with the aim of improving mental health support for the children of Hampshire.
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Children’s Services, but working across the three partners, you will evaluate the current mental health intervention landscape, reviewing the evidence and effectiveness for those interventions and drawing out the gaps in the current interventions offered by all three agencies. You will then establish meaningful and effective governance structures to enable the partners to understand where they may be a need to review or recommission interventions and/or review business cases for new investment. You will take a lead role in coordinating, progressing and reporting on progress in a range of senior governance forums including the Hampshire Wellbeing Board and the Children’s ICS Board as well as representing the partners at regional and Hampshire specific mental health forums including Strategic Mental Health Boards, CAMHS Transformation Programmes and cross local authority service development opportunities.
In recognition of the need to focus on children’s mental health across Hampshire, this is offered as a permanent position, which is expected to evolve over time in response to emerging need, funding and priorities set by the partnership and the post holder will have significant opportunity to influence the future direction of the role.
