As School Nurse you will work alongside the lead school nurse, providing medical support to pupils and staff throughout the school. Working in our medical room, you’ll become a part of a wider pastoral team whose aim is to promote the physical health and emotional wellbeing of the pupils. This support is designed to meet a wide range of day-to-day needs. From meeting the physical needs of some pupils and the administering of first aid, to guiding pupils who might need psychological support. The role is varied but a vital one in our school community.
We welcome applications from people with appropriate qualifications, including a degree in nursing or RGN, as well as current NMC registration. You will be knowledgeable and approachable, with the ability to communicate with, and build effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff. Additional experience of working with children across the senior school age range and in a school environment would be an advantage.
