Job Description

LVS Oxford is a independent School for young people aged 11-19 with autism and offers a specialist and supported learning.

We are looking for a qualified nurse to be responsible for all administration and procedures relating to the medical needs of our students. The role will include recording and monitoring medical information. You should be prepared to deliver some sessions to our students on health related matters such as healthy diet, physical exercise and good hygiene.

The successful candidate will support the leadership team in their pastoral care by dealing with all aspects of medical care and developing positive attitudes to health matters for our students.

The individual must be able to work independently within their professional boundaries and have experience in minor injuries, illnesses and be able to demonstrate safe clinical decision making. Experience in school nursing, A&E or practice nursing would be an advantage.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week, term time

Part-time hours: 30 per week
