Course outline
Nurses should be approachable and knowledgeable. Their support is often sought when a child or staff member is unwell. Creating a medical team that works well together will lead to a happier, more approachable Health Centre that is an advocate for the wider school community.
This seminar will consolidate and develop leadership skills in Nurses who oversee a small or large team working within a school environment. The day will present skills that could improve the cohesion and working styles of the medical team, and between the medical team and the wider school community. Delegates will be encouraged to share their ideas and experiences to improve performance and job satisfaction.
