This course is designed to inform and educate people who are supporting others with their asthma or anaphylaxis either in the education setting or in the workplace. It will discuss the latest statistics, management and support strategies for these conditions.
Training topics will include:
- What is asthma? The practicalities of asthma care in the workplace
- Asthma management, Inhalers.
- Updates on anaphylaxis, care in the workplace
- The practicalities of management in the workplace
Learning outcomes:
- To understand the changes that occur in the body when these conditions are present
- To have an awareness of treatment and management
- To be able to assess and manage an asthma or anaphylactic attack.
