Audience Educators of children ages 7-12, as well as anyone interested in gaining skills and knowledge for delivering effective Puberty Education in schools or other educational settings.

Course outline

This course equips participants with the skills and resources necessary to confidently teach puberty education. Through this session, we will explore age-appropriate strategies for discussing sensitive topics with young learners. The focus will be on fostering a safe and inclusive environment where students can learn about their changing bodies in a respectful and supportive way.

Training topics include:

• Understanding the developmental milestones of children aged 7-12, with a focus on physical, emotional, and social changes during puberty
• Best practices for introducing topics like body changes, menstruation, and hygiene in a non-judgmental and clear manner
• Practical activities and resources to support effective teaching on puberty education
• How to address common misconceptions and manage difficult or sensitive questions

• Gain confidence in delivering puberty education to students aged 7-12
• Understand how to create an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment for discussing puberty
