Course outline
This webinar aims to discuss the pros and cons of drug and alcohol testing in the workplace or school setting. It will explore the techniques, outcomes subsequent actions and the guidance behind the process. We will explore the common issues in schools and have a brief introduction to the drugs most commonly used for recreational purposes.
Training topics will include:
- Purpose and safety
- Test kits
- How to deliver this process in a supportive environment
- Maintaining a professional boundary.

- To understand and be knowledgeable about this process
- To be knowledgeable when and why this would be done
- To be able to positively support a person with suspected drug or alcohol abuse.
