Course outline
In the summer term of 2022/23, the BSA launched its first ever survey for medical staff in boarding schools and this was repeated in 2023/24. We are grateful to all BSA and HIEDA members who took the time to participate. This webinar will go over the key findings from the survey and provide insights on current provision, practice and difficulties for medical centres.
Training topics will include:
- Quantitative data from the survey
- Qualitative data from the survey and boarding staff interviews
- Recommendations and discussion of next steps.
Learning outcomes:
- Consider one’s own school position in comparison with data presented
- Gain an understanding of opportunities and challenges for the global boarding community
- Have the knowledge to develop a personal or school action plan for boarding.
