Course outline

The purpose of this webinar on sleep hygiene is to understand the importance of healthy sleep habits. It will consider strategies to improve sleep habits. Sleep is often neglected, and a lack of it causes, or worsens, many aspects of physical and mental health.

Training topics include:

  • The problems caused by a lack of sleep  
  • Creating the right environment for good sleep  
  • Supporting a healthy sleep routine.  

Learning outcomes:

  • To understand what is preventing someone from getting enough sleep  
  • To understand the implications of a lack of sleep  
  • To be able to explore ways of supporting someone to improve their sleep habits.
