The Post Holder is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality intensive assessment and treatment service for a caseload of young people and their families referred to CAMHS Tier 4.  The post holder will provide links between any CAMHS or adult mental health services that are involved in the child/young person’s care. The intensive treatment services aim to provide alternatives to admission and reduce length of admissions. The role will be integral to ensuring seamless care pathways in to and out of tier 4 services. CPNs will participate in the provision of CAMHS services at weekends on a rotational basis.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.  ​​​​​​​
