​​​​​​​This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician with experience in the assessment, diagnosis and management of complex communication and/ or swallowing difficulties in adults as a result of conditions including Parkinsons, Stroke, MND.
The post holder will provide speech and language therapy services for adults in the community within the Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership and be an integral member of the multidisciplinary Rehabilitation and Enablement Service (RES).
The role involves providing high quality training and education, within a multi- agency approach, to ensure our partners in care homes, people’s home settings and community based locations are best able to support communication and swallowing difficulties and their impact on the individual.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with a range of adults and will have developing expertise in a specialist area of SLT.
Working autonomously with clients, the post holder will access and provide supervision and contribute to governance and service agendas including audit and improvement.
With an excellent understanding of person centred health and social care, the post holder will demonstrate decision making which has at its centre functional outcomes and wellbeing for individuals.
The shift pattern is; 9-5pm, Mon-Fri
