St Ninian’s RC Primary School Nursery Class
Salary: £22,956 – £26,919 (Pro-rata for sessional 39 weeks)
Hours: 36 per week / 39 weeks per year

St. Ninian’s Nursery Class is a non-denominational nursery within an RC Primary School. The school catchment area comprises of a combination of private, housing association and council housing ensuring a good social mix amongst the school pupils.
The nursery class is located in a stand-alone building and has access to the main school hall, library, flexibase (general purpose room), information and communications technology (ICT) room and learning support base. The school grounds have three play areas with a sheltered area and a garden. The nursery playground has fixed play equipment and a garden.
The Senior Leadership Team from 2021-22 will consist of HT, DHT and 1 x PT. The DHT has a particular remit for the nursery class.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
