Paediatric Enuresis Staff Nurse role has arisen. You will join an established team dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of children with nocturnal enuresis issues across Suffolk, based in the Allington Clinic, Ipswich.

Your Role And Responsibilities

You will:

  • work alongside the named nurses within the team as a staff nurse for children and young people with a nocturnal enuresis need
  • provide specialist clinic support for children and young people who have nocturnal enuresis issues
  • providing support to both community and acute services
  • work independently with responsibility for a caseload of children / young people
  • delivering high-quality patient care according to agreed standards which are set and monitored
  • be a confident, innovative and experienced nurse who can work within a multidisciplinary team
  • use your experience, knowledge and skills alongside Children and Young Peoples Service guidelines in every engagement with children, young people, and families to determine the level of intervention required.

You will need to:

  • be a Registered General Nurse and have experience with working with children and young people
  • Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registration – Registered Nurse
  • have knowledge of the continence issues affecting children and young people
  • have the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels.
