We are seeking highly motivated, organised and resilient SLTs to join our community teams within Edinburgh. As a B7 you will have a demanding clinical caseload and be responsible for designated areas of the SLT service as well as performing a leadership role within the team to support and guide more junior colleagues. You will be based in one of our clinics but will also be required to work flexibly across Edinburgh in Health and Education settings. You will have demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: Dysfluency, Preschool Complex Needs, Hanen Parent Programmes, Universal & Targeted service delivery. You will have skills in supervision, teaching, problem solving and quality improvement. You will be supported by an excellent administrative and assistant team and will work closely with our Service and Clinical Leads to provide the best possible service to the children, young people and families of Edinburgh.

The speech and language therapy service is innovative and supportive.  It is committed to the principles of quality improvement and committed to provide a high quality service focused on the child’s needs.  Support is provided for therapists in locality based and clinically focused teams. All therapists have a personal development plan and are encouraged to extend their skills through a variety of CPD activities.
