Lead Clinician – National Managed Clinical Network for Hearing Impairment Network for Children & Young People (HINCYP)
Up to 3 years fixed term – 1 PA per week
In line with Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates guidance, National Services Division (NSD) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Lead Clinician for the Hearing Impairment Network for Children & Young People (HINCYP).
This is a key strategic role in promoting and driving forward the development of an effective, integrated, multidisciplinary managed clinical network throughout Scotland. The postholder will work closely with clinical and other stakeholders and National Services Division (NSD) colleagues.
Applicants will be leaders in their clinical field with experience in the provision and development of clinical services. A proven record in leading change, ability to work across traditional organisational, geographical and professional boundaries and a demonstrable understanding of the ethos of managed clinical networks is essential.
Applicants must have a current substantive role as an NHS Scotland employee and have the support of their Clinical Director for this post to be incorporated into their job plan. The employing NHS Board will be recompensed for the agreed sessional commitment on the basis of evidence of actual backfill costs incurred to release the individual to fulfil the leadership role requirements.
