Job Description

We are looking for a passionate person to work in our Nursery in Wells. We are looking for someone who is motivated, caring and who puts the children at the heart of everything they do.

We trust that they will provide a safe and secure environment for all children within our care, and they will deliver opportunities for the children to make outstanding progress.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective relationships with our Nursery parents, carers, pupils, colleagues and other professionals who may visit the setting to provide an outstanding service.

They will work closely with all staff members within the setting, demonstrating good practice and delivering an upbeat and positive environment. The safety and welfare of the children will be at the forefront of everything you do and their care and education is paramount to the success of the nursery.

Through reflective observations you will support, monitor and recommend improvements for quality in all working areas.

Pension Scheme:

You must have a minimum of a level 3 or level qualification in childcare relevant to the early years sector with ideally 2 years post qualification experience.
You must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of OFSTED requirements and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Due to the nature of the post, an enhanced DBS check will need to be carried out.

28 hours a week over 3 day
