Qualified Nursery Nurse level2/3

Job description

We are looking for a Level 3 or 2 qualified early years practitioner, to join our thriving nursery.

Do you have these following skills and attributes:

A relevant childcare qualification – NNEB, BTEC, CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or above

A sound knowledge of the EYFS, child development, appropriate child age activities, Enthusiasm for working with children and delivering high quality childcare

Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.

Carrying out key person duties.

Flexible within working practices.

Ability to work in a team.

Create a safe and stimulating environment with the ability to observe, assess and plan, to support individual needs of children.

Liaise with outside agencies and other professionals as appropriate

Understand, implement and keep up to date with safeguarding, health and safety and welfare policies

Strong team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to support colleagues

Good understanding of policies and practices within a childcare setting and ability to apply these.

We are committed to safeguarding children – this post requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Job Type: Full-time 40-42.5 hrs a week
