Job summary

We are recruiting Paramedics on a locum basis to provide online digital consultations (both video and telephone) to our patients.

Main duties of the job

As a member of our clinical team, our Paramedics work alongside GPs, ANPs and other allied healthcare professionals and provide advice on best value and most effective treatments and services. This work may include providing enhanced assessment, triage, referral and/or treatment of a wide range of patients, utilising relevant evidence based practice, local guidelines and Trust procedures. You will provide provision of appropriate care based on patient need, ensuring patients receive a timely and appropriate response when working operationally.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Passionate about our vision and incredible mission to combat health inequalities
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care professions Council (HCPC)
  • Diploma in Primary and Urgent Care Examination
  • MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (optional)
  • Post-registration experience in a primary setting (at least 2 years experience).
  • You are an independent prescriber
  • Previous experience of triage/telephone consultation is essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of current health and social care agendas
  • Commit working a minimum of 12 hours per week on a regular base
  • Excellent communication & IT skills
  • Dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Paramedic who wants to work differently
