We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012. We achieved IIP Gold in December 2013 and have been awarded Teaching School Status. At Waverley we try to create an environment which allows everyone to develop mutual respect for each other and a respect for learning. This is an exciting time to join Waverley School.

We moved to new landmark buildings that provide everyone with state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for the School, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as School Nurse. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated, committed individual to join our team as a School Nurse to ensure the good health and welfare of all pupils, staff and visitors of the school.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of the healthcare needs of pupils including administering first aid, medication, co-ordinating screening immunisation programmes, minor injury assessment and the promotion of physical and mental health. Ideally, you will need to be a registered nurse (RGN) with post qualification experience or equivalent qualification/experience. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; have strong organisation and planning skills; be able to prioritise appropriately and safely; be proactive and take initiative; be willing

to support change; and have a keen interest in developing the role of the school nurse at the School.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced School Nurse to further their experience and contribute to the health and welfare of our children.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
