Wellbeing Advisor

About the role.

 

We are recruiting for a Wellbeing Advisor. This exciting opportunity gives you the freedom to utilise all your health and behavioural change skills creatively whilst being supported by our experienced wellbeing team.

 

The Wellbeing Advisor will deliver workshops and provide one-to-one support to participants wanting to improve their health and wellbeing. Based in our Manchester office, this role reports to the Head of Health and Wellbeing, with operational oversight from our Enterprise Manager.

 

Using evidence-based behavioural techniques such as motivational interviewing, the Wellbeing Advisor will help participants identify, set and meet achievable goals to improve their physical and emotional wellbeing.

 

Have you got what it takes?

 

You should have a passion for what you do along with a degree in a health-related field. You will need to care deeply about improving people’s work and non-work lives while working to clear direction as part of a team. You should have experience working in a client-facing advisory role and have delivered lifestyle change/brief interventions or similar. You will be competent in using motivational interviewing techniques and have knowledge of local health issues, the wider determinants of health, and local health/wellbeing/community services.
